if i take max amount out of cash machine can i still use debit card to pay for things

:oas above really!the max i can take out is 300 at a machine,but then can i still use my debitcard to pay for things?is there a max amount?thanks!!

  • Yes no problem as long as the purchase is approved (you have the money in the account to cover it).

  • You can also get up to £50 cash back in a supermarket etc which is what I do if I want more than £300 in cash in one day.

  • I would think you can take out up to the amount you have in the account. Best thing to do would be to phone your bank. You may even be able to get the bank to pay some of the bills direct over the phone.

    Probably, but £25,000 would be a typical sort of figure.

    Or go up to the counter and take it out there. Why they decreased it from £500 to £300 a day is anyone's guess.

    Unlimited I believe, as long as funds are in the account. They will probably do additional security checks though if it's a really large amount
  • I believe there is a figure which is the same for everybody and no bank official can override of £35k
