HELP! Please! Email Virus

I think I've got a virus in my emails. My email address is sending out emails entiled "RE:" with a link in, which is obviously to a virus!

How do I get rid of this? I am trying a scan, and it's picked up on something called 'tracking cookies'. Does anyone know what these are?

You may or may not have a virus, but we would need some more information.
How do you access your emails? via a browser IE/Firefox or do you have a client like Outlook Express/Thunderbird.

I use Internert explorer, then in through aol

First thing to do then is change your password in aol mail , then lets see what your scan turns up.
Then run a malwarebytes scan http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.php , down load it then when you start it go to the update tab and check for updates, then go to the scanner tab and do a quick scan and post the log here .
It may be your password was just easily guessed/cracked.

I am going out soon, but someone else will help too, there have been very few virus threads lately and some of the guys are getting bored

It might be worth checking the sent folder as well to see if the emails appear in there as being sent from your account.

Yeah I have done that and they are def from my account.

Then like DCM said, run the MBAM scan and post the log after you've fixed everything it finds. You'll need to change your password from a known clean computer.
