Thanks for the suggestion.
Just tried it and they are showing coop saving me £427.06.
I don't think it would be possible for the comparison site to show me the prices for November would it?
It can only go by the price now.
Spark is another one, anyone know anything about them?
Are their prices 'stable' or are they going to do a 'co-op'?
It's all crazy.0 -

Lewie, have you tried a comparison using the coop site ?
It should be up to date (switch takes 4/5 weeks) so anyone switching now will be paying the new rate from 3rd November. To be fair they did say that prices would be held until end of September.0 -

Spark are the only company I've found that make NPower look good. Don't take my word for it check out thier reviews. I know what you mean though I've not heard anything about them having a price rise yet...
I was hoping for some debate of how the transparent Co-Op is ripping us off just like everyone else...Mixed Martial Arts is the greatest sport known to mankind and anyone who says it is 'a bar room brawl' has never trained in it and has no idea what they are talking about.0 -

Like myself you know that the big 6 suppliers pensioners are freezing because of these hikes. However not the Co-op.
I really hate the British media & MSE Media they just jump on the bandwagon and attack the Big 6. Should they not slate the smaller ones just as much for Not offering decent deals?. All they seem to bring is another standard tariff with decent customer service.
OVO however imo have done very well decent prices and good customer service, Due to my usage I can still get a better deal off the big 6.
Smaller firms however should be slammed just as hard for price hikes however the Co-op escapes under the net with similar hikes as the big 6.Thanks for reading

I am not responding to the "ripping off" but when the "transparent" prices rise at the beginning of November, Co-op energy pricing (depending on consumption) will be between 15 & 20% above the best "post-increase" rates in the marketplace.
Yet other recent posts report an exodous from "Big 6" suppliers to Co-op Energy. Maybe the individuals think Co-operative ideals are worth paying a 15 to 20% premium for. That's fine as long as that is understood.0 -

Hi Meggsy.
I called to cancel and the lady on the phone did me a comparison, post price rises.
At current usage I would be paying £1,639.92.
With Ebico it is £1821.00.
A saving but not much.
She did explain that the Coop do try to keep their prices down and the way the big 6 put their prices up the savings quoted by, say, Scottish Power, will even themselves out a bit over time plus you get better customer service from some of the smaller companies.
I have not had any grief with Ebico but I'm a bit fed up with them now.
They keep saying they are a 'non profit making company' so how come they are one of the dearest for high users??
Big wages??
It would have been nice if we all slowly changed to Ebico (or sinilar) at the same(ish) time.
That would have got the bigger companies thinking.
Scottish Powers customer services don't look too bad and they appear to be my biggest saving.
Now I'm back to square one! :mad:0 -

Not at a premium for me...Depends where you live, your consumprion and when you signed up. New comparisons still show the Coop is still the cheapest for me except for OVO fixed which is £17 cheaper but with a £30 exit penalty. But I wont be getting Coop Divi which will probaly earn me £10-£12. A few of the big six many tariifs were within just a couple of quid but not worth the bother or had too many strings attached as I dont want to fix or have exit penalties. If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0
