From memory, I hated family holidays when I was 15 and 16. I was too old to do the "kids stuff", not old enough for the adult stuff (well, not legally!) and my parents didn't trust me enough to leave me at home. I would just spend all week sulking in my room.

If you go to Salou it has Portaventura Themepark walkable distance- he could spend a few days there. You could also get the train to Barcelona, think it's 90 minutes, even if cities aren't his thing - it's hard to imagine a 15-year old wouldn't like a trip to the Nou Camp?

This is exactly what we did with our 15year old. Stayed near Salou. There was a water park, theme park, we did a day trip to Barcelona and did Nou Camp and open top bus tour. Found places with internet. It was fine but I would limit it to a week for all your sakes. They need to realise that you need a holiday too. Just learn to ignore the sulky face.

Im sure theres nothing wrong with zenmaster,

depends if the laptop has wifi or not, if it has then no need for a dongle unless you want a 3g dongle but it isnt MSE though

We spent fair few years going camping(not proper camping mind) when i was 15/16 with canvas or euro camp with another family for a few years which was good, also went by on our own and met other teenagers of similar age. Vrious things to do on site like table tennis, mini golf, pool.

Are you going to let him go with his friends or all by himself?
