Little one number 1 is 2 1/2 now and eats what we do and has done pretty much since we were at the mush stage. I cut down the small amount of salt in our food when I was pregnant to barely any at all in preparation. DD has an absolute passion for food and the only problem I have now is that she's a really expensive lunch date as she's not interested in the children's menu and usually requires a 'proper' lunch at 'proper' prices - her favourite is the lobster ravioli at the local Italian! I never assumed anything was too sophisticated or fancy or spicy for her and just offered her a taste and she invariably hoovered whatever it was up and asked for more. DS is just starting on the adventure with veg purees and fingers crossed he seems as enthusiastic as his big sister.
Sounds like you're onto a good start with the baby led weaning - have fun and enjoy the adventure.0
