Please someone help i am living like a Ghost and had enough

Due to family problems , i missed payments on my credit cards in Nov 2006 and no job for sever months
its nearly 5 years , i left my rented home due to ballifs and DCA letters etc .
i been living with different friends from last 5 years and doing part time job 10K Gross which give me £730 per month after tax etc from last three years. which keep me alive.
living in a rented room now

have no bank account from last three year
don't know about my credit file coz without bank account can not check my credit file.

without bank account cann't apply for job , this company i work for is giving me cash net pay with wage slip

i want to start again , contact my crediters ( 20000£ from 4 creditors in good days)
have no idea what to do after living like a ghost from last five years .
have good new opertunity to start again
please please some one tell me what to do and where to start .

Hi there. First move is to pop over to https://www.iva.com where you will find a list of Insolvency firms. Speak to a couple and get your options worked out. The advice is free and there is no obligation. You need to speak to a few companies to see who you feel most comfortable with. There are also CCCS and Payplan, which some prefer ... but as they say "one man's meat is another man's poison", so you need to make your own choice.

So -- speak to a few companies and see what your options are.

Is an IVA what you want to do? From a purely financial position, you may well be better of filing for bankruptcy.

Can you contact your CAB - they'll be able to assess your full situation and advise on options.
