Hi does anybody know of a good alternative to Facebook that is not a dating site please?..sorry but it helps me stay in and save money without climbing the walls:D

Google plus is shaping up to be a good alternative. I deactivated my FB Account on Friday. I do not like the new FB. But not one text/email nothing from anyone, so no one has noticed I have gone.

I do miss the sims social though, I loved that game, but hey ho..
I have joined up with google, but can not work it out... I can't be bothered lol..

Don't take this lack of reaction too personally please- your friends may have noticed that you've gone and though that you've defriended them!
I sometimes notice that I have fewer FB friends than I used to; usually I can't work out who's dropped off
but when they reactivate my friend count goes up again. They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.

I got an email from FB last week saying they were cutting down on the emails sent out - since then I have had at least 5 FB personal messages sent to me, but not a sniff of an email!
So it seems you have to log in, in order to catch up!
