Skype and Laptops/netbooks mini laptops

Options
Whic is best for skype video calling. On a very tight budget.
So i thought a mini would be good but i'm reading alot about skype video calling not working on these.

Any advice would be great thanks

    if you are literally looking for only using it for skype then you could get an 8GB 4th gen iPod touch (the one with the cameras) you then install the skype app and video and voice call all you want, and you can then use it for all the other features and ipod touch can do.

    Works on my samsung netbook, and the MSI netbook we have work fine.

    Thanks. I did think about tat but then i was told i would have to do some other stuff which i would need a laptop or netbook for.

    It's an nc10, Intel atom N270 1.6ghz1gb ram, running xp with a 1.3m camera.
    the msi is the same.
    Skye does gives the advice that the computer is running too slowly to make clear calls, but we have never has a problem using it.
    Video calls are as good as I expect, voice calls to an Asus tablet running android, no video were excellent.
