2TB portable external hard drive

Evening all.

I'm looking for an external hard drive. I would like 2TB of space, which is easy enough to find.

Trouble is I want one that's USB powered, not one with a separate AC adapter. I'm struggling to find this though. Can anyone recommend one?

I've seen plenty of 1TB portable drives, but while 1TB is good enough for now, give it a few months and I will probably have filled it.

My budget is as cheap as possible, around the £80 mark. If it's more than that I'll just go for the 1TB option and buy a new 2TB in a few months time when they're more readily available!

Thanks.

for a drive to be USB powered it has to be a 2.5 inch HDD, at the moment the largest 2.5 inch drive you can buy in the world is 1TB, so if you want USB powered then 1TB is the maximum.

3.5 inch drives (the ones with the power adaptor) go all the way up to 4TB nowadays (that's why you can easily find a 2TB 3.5 inch drive), it will be quite a while until 2.5 inch drives get to 4TB.
