iTunes Home Sharing Problem?

So we have three users on our laptop but I seem to only be able to load our iTunes library into our main one - even when I turn on home sharing the iTunes library doesn't appear under 'Shared' as it should according to Apple - in fact there is no Shared category in my iTunes library!!!
Any advice?
Also I supposedly have 4 out of 5 computers authorised? I only want/ need this laptop authorised and in turn our three users on this laptop but the only option is to deauthorise them all??? If I do that will I loose my itunes library??
