Can you claim Return to work credit twice?

PLEASE NOTE: This is a hypathetical question out of curiosity.
When people get return to work credit, £40 a week for 52 weeks like I did. This is really good and helped me alot. But, what is to stop someone taking advantage and getting a job for a year, going back on esa for 13 weeks and doing it over and over.
Are you allowed to claim it twice? on the form it says is this your first time claiming as one of the questions, but does not state if it is a once only benefit

This is what it says on directgov.uk, so you'd have to claim benefits for another year before being entitled again?
In Work Credit
In Work Credit is a fixed tax-free payment of £40 per week (£60 per week in London) for parents bringing up children alone. It is payable for up to 52 weeks on top of your earnings, when you start work of at least 16 hours per week. You need to claim it before you start work.
You may get In Work Credit if you:
are bringing up children on your own
have at least one child living with you who is under the age of 16
are starting work of at least 16 hours a week
expect that work to last five weeks or more
You must also have been claiming one or a combination of the following benefits for at least 52 weeks. Short breaks of no more than five days are allowed:
Income Support
Jobseeker’s Allowance
Employment and Support Allowance - if you lost entitlement to Income Support due to the age of your youngest child and were not able to claim Jobseeker's Allowance because you were ill.Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0 -
As the post above says, you have to be claiming benefits for a year so 13 weeks wouldn't qualify you for it.0

Also wouldnt look good on your CV working for only a short period at a time then going on benefits. I wouldnt give up a job to go on benefits for a year just to claim an extra benefit for a short time0

I did say it was only hypathetical.
Return to work credit only have to be on esa for 13 weeks. I was on esa 18 weeks then got RTWC
I wouldnt give up my jobs to go back on esa anyway. I would lose more claiming esa for 13 weeks then £40 a week extra than I would to just work ofr a year0 -

Direct.gov state what the OP suggests you only have to be on ESA for 13 weeks.I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0
