Capping off a bath/shower mixer fitting?

We have a bath/shower mixer tap on our bath but now that we have an electric shower fitted over the bath, we no longer need the old shower attachment on the taps. We can't afford to change the taps at the moment, is there a fitting that we can buy to "cap off" the old shower hose? I've seen a "Tap hole stopper" in Wickes, is this what we need?

It looks too flat to me, the shower hose fitting is raised from the taps?
Any suggestions would be good, I don't know where to start looking or what to ask for.
Thanks!
