Someone else signed for my item from Gap :(

Yodel delivered my GAP jeans to someone else in my stair, they didn't leave a note or anything in my door. I went down to the depot to collect another parcel, and asked if the jeans were there too, they told me that someone signed for them.

I told them I'd leave a note in my stair (I live in a flat). I left it 12 days ago on the door, and also asked my post lady which flat number the person lived at (which she told me - Ive been up twice to ask for them, but no answer)

So angry.

I know who took them - is there anything I can do? I mean GAP are refunding me so I can reorder them, but I'm just annoyed someone stole them. Is there anything you can do?

It's up to GAP to decide to press charges etc, but if you order anything else, make sure you leave instructions not to leave with neighbours.

If you are in flats and knocking directly on their door, they will probably know it is another resident. If you have an entrance buzzer, use that, they may answer it then.

Unless the terms of delivery state they leave with neighbours (most dont) call gap and say you have not recieved your item, they will say it has been signed for but as its not your signature its up to them to claim of yodels insurance.
