Hi All,

How can I completely lock down my wall on FB so that only friends can view it and how can I lock down my friend's list so that only I can view it?

I've done that but it appears that certain parts on my wall are still visible e.g. information relating to changes I have made to my profile etc that appear on the wall.

How about locking down the friend's list, is this possible?

Absolutely

Lock down your friends list by logging in. Go to Edit Profile.

On the left hand side there is a list of choices. Click on "friends and family"

Then, in the main screen, click on the icon on the right hand side of "friends". It should give you a drop down menu on which you can click "only me".

That means only you should be able to see your friends list.

Don't forget to press on the "save changes" button as well.

As for profile changes appearing on your Wall, you could always just go to your Wall, hover over the right hand side of the post saying "XXX changed her status to single" and an option should appear to delete it, and it may give you an option to "always hide changes to profile".

You can also use the "View As" button which is on the top right hand corner of your screen when you log-in to see exactly how your page appears to your friends and check whether these changes have worked.

I've just checked, and no-one can see my friends list except me (I only have 7 so I don't want to be ridiculed )
