  • Not trying to be negative but those offers have been on many weeks and the £50 reduction one is not the deal it seems. Hope someone bags a genuine bargain tho :O)

Hi, could you tell me why you don't think the blue badge one is very good? My dh has a bb so we could get this. At the moment we have a TomTom that is about 5-6 years old and they want £40 to update the maps!

i didn't know about them until yesterday - checked the forum search and couldn't find anything.

I couldn't find your post to share the deals from many weeks ago. Apologies if old news! :p
  • I'm not sure about these sat navs but I bought one recently directy from Tom Tom refurbed which saved quite a bit and if you click from this site it gives you additional money off. At the time of purchase I got an additional £20 off so the offers differ all the time.

Worth a look if you're in the market for one.

Mine's perfect with not a scratch!

  • Jammy, did not say it was not any good. In my opinion, unless you need the disabled parking part, it is not worth anything like the £200 RRP and is available for similar prices elsewhere.

Bargainhuntress, did not post up as i did not think they were much of a bargain opposed to the Tom Tom i purchased (did post details of that).

As i said it was not negativity, just making people aware of the facts and figures. No offence intended.

I ordered TOMTOM from this website following your link. This is not from Tomtom but a website called Total PDA which has horrible reviews as I realised after I placed my order and gave them my credit card. Your post was very misleading!!! because of you I gave my credit card info to a dodgy website.

Don't be utterly ridiculous - it's up to you whether you buy something or not - so it's because of YOU that you gave details to a dodgy website!!!!!

Hi, Thanks for the info. I did not think you were being negative. I know nothing about them so i was interested in your opinions :)

I also used the satnav discounts site to find the bargains, but I bought my TomTom direct from TomTom themselves. Satnav-discounts.co.uk is a price comparison site. It's your choice who you buy from. Cheekytinkster was being helpful by posting that link! You can't blame somebody else because you didn't read the reviews BEFORE you placed your order!

What I actually said was "I bought one recently directy from Tom Tom" and "if you click from this site it gives you additional money off".

I don't think I could've been clearer, I clicked through that link directly to Tom Tom and purchased there having received the additional discount from clicking through that site.

Not my fault - and certainly not worth your comment. You're in charge of where you buy from not me!

    Apologies gratefully accepted..........;-)
