Changing Supplier Question

Hello,
I hope someone can help me. I am currently on the Websaver 9 tariff with BG which ends on 1st Nov. On our Gas bill it shows that we are about £60 in debit and the Electricity is showing about £330 in credit.
Is there anyway of changing supplier without paying off BG that £330? I don't mean not pay them, more like the new supplier take over the cost.
Sorry if this is a dumb question but we've never moved suppliers before as we've only been in the house for just over a year.

In credit surely means that they will owe that to you. Or do you really mean debit?
Anyway if you apply to change supplier, you will be sent a final bill which you will be expected to pay immediately. You cannot take the debt to the new supplier. Do check though whether you have overpaid or underpaid for each fuel.0 -
