Windows startup error message

Can anybody help me with this slight error problem.
Windows loads up fine, but everytime I get to the main backdrop and all my programs are starting up (MSN, Outlook etc) I get this popup error box.

Now it's obviously something I've had installed, maybe got rid of, but something is lying deep in the system for it to keep popping up. I can close the box but it's just really annoying me now  I've tried virus scanning, cleaning, is there any specific method or software I could use to get rid of this annoyance.
Much obliged for any help.

Does the lightning icon give you a clue?
You could have a look in task manager (ctrl alt del), processes, to see which process drops out of the list when you ok the message.
Or use start, run, msconfig or autoruns to see what is loading at startup
