Is there a difference between buying a lottery ticket online or offline?

If you use the national lottery website to buy let's say euro millions ticket, then your chances to win are lesser if you would have purchased the tickets offline, or this is just rubbish and rumors?

    It's rubbish and rumours. How can they rig a draw that depends on televised dropping number balls and more to the point why would they?

    I've never heard that rumour but I've stopped buying lottery tickets so "it won't be me".

    Actually there is more chance of winning if you purchase online, you can't lose your ticket :)

    Still the same chance of winning, just more chance of knowing that you've won and getting your winnings paid to you.
