Going on a cruise - sailing fron Southampton. Anyone know of cheap car parking facilities ?

i asked this question for my parents a bit ago and no one could suggest anything cheaper than the extortionately expensive cruise carparks. someone did say you could park in the street in one of the 'nice' parts of town and get a taxi. if there is any more up to date advice it would be gratefully recieved as they're off on another one soon. i hope all money saving cruisers remember to use bolsover travel.0
