Hi - my first time on here so forgive any blunders.....

My claim processing has been going on since 18th August - wondered whether any one out there knew how long they can (prevaricate) take to settle?

Hi and welcome

The norm is 8 weeks, but banks have been given more time which now stands at 12 weeks to come to a decision.
However, complaints made before Sept were given 16 weeks.
As there's been a backlog the FSA had given banks permission for this extra time.
However, you should receive a confirmation letter to confirm receipt of your complaint within a week or 2 of sending it.

Have you heard anything at all from them yet?
