Red Light Cameras

Today I was sat at the red lights at a cross road. The light I was at had a red light camera and you could see the sensors cut into the tarmac on the other side of the white line.

This car comes out of the cross road (green for them) and cuts right across in front of me, going over the red light sensors in the road.

Would this have set off the red light camera?

Doubt it as it would have activated the sensors in the wrong order.

Plus if it did your car would not have been on or in front of the white line would it? So you would have nothing to worry about!

Didn't see it flash but it was bright and sunny so not sure if I would have noticed or not.
