In my store they refused to give me DTD!!!
I was al excited when I found the 100% extra packs of Pinguins- 1.75 each etc...
It didn't go through as BOGOF so off I go to the Customer Services. The SA phoned the manager ' an other of the Pinguin bar ones' - whatever thats means! anyway the manager turned up- old chap with no teeth- and try to explain that these 100% extra free bars are not included in the offer etc etc etc. I pointed out that the SEL doesn't say that these are not included in the BOGOF offer and that if the manufacturer offer 100% free than they should be included in the offer and Tescos should be charging extra to it- well it did not make any difference, he wouldn't bulge and just offered to refund my money... which I did and wasn't happy at all . Why can't I have some 'special' biscuits?

ok i know its not the same but i today i picked up a box of viennese whirls well 2 actually anyway the box had six in on offer at a £1 and then i spotted another box of 6 + 2 free but the price was 1.55 where would i have stood if i argued the other price to cs surely that box should ave been £1 each also ??

Cheeky!! There was a post somewhere giving head office customer services phone nos... I think you should give them a call... and keep your receipt too. Will look for the post with the numbers and add here later on if I find them!

Son of Martini report that 36 Breakaway biscuits are available for £1.55 in Abbeydale Rd, Sheffield.
The 9 + 9 free packs are in the 18 position on the shelf but an 18 pack exists at the back with the barcode that matches the SEL.
The 9 + 9 pack has a different barcode to the 9 pack but goes through as a 9 pack.
They are in two locations in the store. One place mentions the BOGOF offer but has no 9 + 9 packs. The other location doesn't mention the offer but has the 9 + 9 free packs. Buy pairs of these! Good luck t' our Sheffield MSE'rs - like!

I got the cashier to check for me if it had gone through with the penguins. she said it hadnot. I didn't want to chance it for dtd as cs because it was the 9+9 pack so I told her to get it checked out. another member came back after checking the shelf and said ony the 9 pack was B1G1F . I pointed out that this is a 9 pack (100+FREE) he voided one pack and let me have it. I think they would have argued with me if I tried it for DTD.

Yum, got some today & pointed them out to a fellow shopper hovering over the 9 packs.... "psst, the 9+9free are also bogof" then scuttled away ....:D

have spent ages looking for post tha thad various numbers for complaints - can't locate it, sorry. Maybe check T;s website... good luck

No worries, I will try my luck tomorrow again with the 'time out' ones- as mentioned by Martini - maybe manage to get some extra bargain...
