Please help me to get my new computer to print

We have bought a new computer a HP Touchsmart 610 and I cant get it to communicate with the wireless printer ita a lexmark intuition. Ive installed the driver via the wire, but I try to print I get a message that says Communication not available. Ive done everything suggested with no luck except "check firewall settings to ensure lxebcons.exe is not blocked" Well thats stumped me,no idea where to start.So if anyone can help Id be very grateful, only thing explanation in simple language please. By the way the computer came with Norton anti virus.

How far away is the Lexmark from the HP? Try printing it wired firstly and then run a test page wirelessly.

Then try this if all else fails.

Make sure you have set the computer to accept the new printer as the default - this caused me a lot of swearing before I realised!

yes Ive set the printer as a default, i'l try running it wired then if all else fails I think I'll kick the blumming thing then the suggestion
