Without any more details ie start and finish station it will be hard to help, but if you let us know this info I'm sure somebody on the forum will help.
My tip buy in advance, normally the further in the future the cheaper (upto around 12 weeks) and look for the not so busy days as in midweek or a Saturday.
And are your entitled to a railcard, if yes then get one or if you have a load of Tesco clubcard vouchers then use them on Redspottedhanky.com to buy your tickets (£10 vouchers = £30 rail voucher)Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -
Journeys are
Greenbank, Northwich to Leeds usually via Manchester
Hartford, Northwich to Nottingham usually via Crewe & Derby
No matter what I do I cannot get variations in prices for different days (just peak prices of course are higher). Also Leeds route is coming up more expensive November rather than next week or October.
Does this help? Can someone advise I have read all the tricks splitting tickets etc but I really want a website that I just enter the route with no date and let the website search for cheapest day to go say for both October/November if buying tickets today. Hope that makes sense.0 -
Just to add found "red spotted hanky" confusing prefer national rail0
