I virtually never wash mine - does that make me a bad mother:p?
The 2 schnauzers go to a groomers once every three months ish, but the the other 3 never get washed unless they roll in fox poo or dead sea animal washed up on the beach ( yes i am looking at you Tilly:eek:). But they really don't do that very often - not even annually and I can't acutally remember when the Papillon was last bathed - years and years ago and he smells neutral and is very clean looking.
I've always found washing them to be unneccessary and no, my house doesn't smell of dog:D0
