Ironing board

Hi,
My OH asked me to get a new ironing board from argos yesterday - she even gave me the catalogue number of the one she wanted.
On returning home, thought I would try it out first as I needed to iron some shirts for work (That is all I iron - OH does all the rest)
Removed all packaging and disposed of it - was only plastic wrapping and cardboard to protect legs.
OH came back from work last night, and looked at ironing board, and asked where is the power lead? What power lead I said...
According to the description on Argos website, the board comes with a power lead extension, so no trailing iron cable.
The board I collected didn't have one, but was definitely the right item.
Now I have thrown away the packaging, and already used the board, how do I stand with returning it?
If the description is wrong, and it doesn't come with a lead, would I be entitled to a full refund?

Was it this one 850/1099?
If so have a look underneath as one of the reviews says
"The ironing board has an extension lead as you would buy it in a shop in a little holder underneath. The cord of this lead is far too short unless you stand right next to a socket, it won't reach easily. Consider before purchasing, as the attached extension lead does not warrant the additional cost."0 -
This is the consumer rights board, not the ironing board! Thanks, I'll be here all week
On a serious note, I have always found Argos to have an excellent returns policy, i'd take it back even without the packaging and say it is missing the extension lead (or give them a call if you don't want to cart it back down there) and they are usually more than equitable."We can all fly as high as the dreams we dare to live...........unless we are a chicken" ~ Anon.0 -
Hi SteveE2,
Yes, it is that one! I never read the reviews as I was just given code by OH to go and buy.
Will take it back as it is and see what they say.0
