Yes sorry - I realised after I pressed send that i'd made a mistake. 100 is correct - after taking out the ones that sold for £15ish, they sold for on average £4 each...anna-marie - You said 300 DVD's originally and then you edited it to 100.
I seriously doubt you'd get £5 each for 2nd hand DVD's, whereas £1.67 each seems more reasonable.
So which is it?0 -
Best to list on Ebay on free listing days- after checking what your DVDs are going for on Amazon (just type in the bar code in the search box). You list on Amazon for free and it stays on until sold. Some people who buy from Amazon would never use Ebay - so you may have a chance.
I also put 25 DVDs in my local friday-ad recently - I stacked them all up so the titles could be read and took a clear photo - they were all Rom coms and I priced them at £30 - and got £25 for the lot - which is what I wanted.0 -
Hi again guys.
Great replies by the way. What if I find the DVDs that are more valuable and put them on eBay? E.g box sets and "rarer" films.
Thing is, if I only have about 10 of them, will the cost of listing them be made up in how much I make?
I don't want to end up losing money at all - would much rather make a few £s without risking it too much.0 -

If you only have 10 DVD's you should think about putting them on as a job-lot and sell them together.£2018 in 2018 #62

As I said in my post- there won't be any cost to list if you do it on a free listing weekend. Ebay has them about every 2 weeks.0 -

Hi Mrs Money,
Sorry I missed that reply. Sounds like a plan thanks. I'll keep an eye out for the free listing weekend for eBay for my more valuable DVDs and the rest; selling them to music magpie seems a decent enough thing to do.0
