Santander and MBNA

Can anyone help? i am trying to reclaim PPI from Abbey - who became Santander and then transferred their CC operation to MBNA.
Santander have said my claim must be with MBNA, even though it was Abbey who sold me the PPI. Does anyone know if this is correct?

hiya, i was with abbey then was transferred to mbna, i sent all mine to mbna and they upheld mine last thursday hope that helps.

My hubbys was upheld by MBNA as well, he had an old Abbey card later transferred to MBNA.

Just a thought guys n gals, if MBNA will only pay you redress for the time they had the card,you should make a claim to Santander for the time you had the card and paid ppi to them.

Someone else mentioned that Amersall and I tried but they replied saying that everything had been transferred to MBNA. A bit strange as the one I had upheld today the old A&L Credit Card was also transferred to MBNA but I successfully claimed with MBNA £540, and today was upheld (jumps up and down and dances again, still have lost all my smilies) with Santander for £1,600.
