Sorrys mods if this isn't allowed but I discovered that forum from here so what the heck :p

Those guys on that site / link, have been predicting a crash every year for the last 5 years ! and it still has not happened. So take what they say with a BIG pinch of salt.

On that site it's like one of those end of the world cult groups.:rotfl:

They are fairly wacky but harmless.

Ok so we can all have a guess at whats going to happen but all this only adds to the fire. Yes things are looking grimmer but christ get over it. As a word of advice to anyone 1 out of 50 top analysts said that there would be a rate rise in Jan. Make sure you do your sums and for god sake put every last drop of money you have into savings, bonds etc so offset your hikes in payments simple.

    I thank you

Both sides of the crash/non crash argument are the same.

The cult of housing is just as strong...

THis from the great sage who predicted in 2006 that the market had achieved a soft landing and I should not expect any rises in property values above inflation.

I had, you claimed, "missed that particular boat".

Yeah, that was really good advice....

Not a prediction by any means but there's an interestnig line in the FT,
"the measure [RPI] is now at its highest since December 1991, when interest rates were at 10.5 per cent"
    .

Dont panic everyone - Tony Blair has been quoted as saying that the inflation figure is a 'blip' and we will soon return to 2%
    2 + 2 = 4
except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.
