Could I ask a favour of anyone who is going to T's today. If they see the DJ Hero 2 PS3 bundle advertised at £19.99, could they please make a note of the exact wording of the description for me and, if possible, take a photo?
I contacted HO this morning about my experience last night and they said they would have to contact the store and get someone to call me back. The Duty Manager of the store has just called me and told me that he has spoken to the Supervisor and SA from last night and been informed that, although the barcode from the £19.99 SEL matches the product exactly, the wording of the description is slightly different. Therefore, the product must have been put in the wrong place (by a customer of course). When I asked where the space and SEL (£79.99) were for the product I purchased, he couldn't answer me. He also said that barcodes on products have no bearing on prices so whether they match on not doesn't matter, it's the description you have to go by????
Bottom line is, I have had the refund so that's that and even if I hadn't had the refund, that would be all they would offer me anyway.:mad:
It is £45 in the stores in Scotland so I can't help unfortunately. Hope you get this rectified x0 -

Barcode ends 5102. In a huge pink box. Window on front shows the teapot, tray etc contents.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Winjackie- I can't believe this bit "He also said that barcodes on products have no bearing on prices so whether they match on not doesn't matter, it's the description you have to go by???? "
Everytime I get a DTD they always go by the barcode
If I get to Tesco today I'll try & take a photo for you but I won't be back till at least 10pm tonight.0 -

Cowpoo!!! Push harder, you have a cast iron case and he's talking out his prize rump! What is more he's sunk himself by admitting the barcodes are the same.
NO two items have the same barcode, and certainly non with the same or even similar descriptions! He's just trying to get out of paying out DTD and trying any way necessary. Stand firm, call HO again tell them you are not satisfied and will take it all the way to the top if you are not treated as per their own policy.
My OH has suggested you go into store and get the duty manager to call HO in your presence and discuss the matter as a group. Get head office to confirm that bar codes for products are unique. In fact I'd bypass the idiot duty manager, you want to speak to the organ grinder not the monkey, go for the store manager! Tell him its now not about the money, its a matter of principle based on the lies and intransigence you've faced along with the phone calls and extra travelling.0 -

Whoever starts it, it will have to go on the main grabbit forum and then get expired.
Also if you didn't have all the information to hand you could start the thread and then "reserve" the first couple of posts to put all the important info, links etc into once you had more time and then edit the individual posts to put in the relevant info.0 -

You can actually start a new thread in the Gone forum. No idea if there's any difference with it not being expired but would save any hassle.0 -

That would be much easier, I always thought the mods had to move it to the gone but definitely seems like a new thread can be started here. Give it a go, you're a regular contributor.0 -
Just found this on the grocery board so thanks guys, don't think the 3 for 2 on this has been mentioned! At this rate I'll definately be making my own mince pies this year!
Jars of mincemeat in Tesco- 20p!!
not tesco value either!
3 for 2 on christmas baking things, jars of mincemeat 30p, with 3 for 2 its 20p!!
What I mean is the 3 for 2 has been mentioned but not the 30p mincemeat;)
Now you tell meI have a freezer full of Mince pies courtesy of Mr Kipling,OP and my local Mr T`s :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Thinking you could make Custard and Mince pies for Mr K as I do believe you have some little pots of custard still lurking in your cupboards :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
