Despite saying earlier this week I was giving up on 4p items after getting trouted at the till this week and last I have just completed my little tour.
Pleased to say that I am now the proud owner of one of the navy dressing gowns for 4p :j:j:j. They are easy to spot if your store has one as the old one was £2 cheaper than AW11 at £16. Was a nervous wreck at the SS whilst SA took off the security tag, keeping everything crossed she didn't notice. To make it worse the store was soooooo quiet and I was the only one scanning. Also managed to get two packs of mens socks that were one offs, will try and post a picture when I am back as I dont think I have seen either of them before. :T
I don't suppose you have a barcode or pic do you? Well done on your find and not getting trouted!
Edited to say?: And aren't you northwest too?£20 a day April 2014 £834.87/£600 :j
£20 a day May 2014 £108.45/£6000 -
Morning all,
Definitely going for the kellogs if I can find them, just right to leave out ready for my mum each morning.
Sunshine really hope your money turns up. Said a little prayer for you last night.
Just a thought have you lifted the sofa onto its side and looked underneath. We lost something under a big arm chair for ages, we moved it out and felt underneath and for several weeks later it was pulled out to hoover under but somehow must have got stuck maybe by the wheels, and probably been rolling around with the chair everytime we moved it and one day somehow got free. It had been there all the while.
Also have you moved the front seats of the car back and forward and shone a torch under even in daylight, many a time things have fallen out from my handbag and I have looked to no avail and gone back and eventually found them. Especially if as you say money is in a wad, it may have got stuck quite easily.
And Wool27 where did you find the slippers had a little look around our stores yesterday, looked like TP had been ransacked of any sort of mens slipper! No bargains for me except the chocolate tart my friend got, oh and a few whoopsies last night. 40p Pizza express Margherita for tea tonight.0 -

Hi all, found a 4p item that I don't think has been mentioned before - please forgive me if it has.
Knee High socks, female in blue with small white hearts. Made form a soft fleecey material. One pair. There's a little almost-transparent blue bow around the pair. Original tag price £3. BC 5052319062090
Also grabbed a couple of the velvet touch purple tights, and a pair of the fashion tights - quite a few left in store. This was in Ch*lmsf*rd (the one by iceland). Got the knee high black socks (2 pair) there the other day as well.
One of the tights set off the "Please seek assistence" type of message on the SS machine, but the attending SA didn't seem to mind the price - SA did a double take and asked if I'd seen them for that price. I explained I had read online that they were that price and the SA was cool with it.HTH.

just seen on main board that from Monday, clothing wil be reduced.. plus you can double up with clubcard points... if your not desperate for clothing till then.. maybe worth waiting... dunno how true the source is, but worth a wait i suppose..
Still not gone out, waiting for postman..... do they have to come before 12;00 if it was sent next day delivery???
And to the poster that was asking about the price of my OH.... might do an auction, whoever has the highest bid...
hes handy at loads of things, DIY etc... lol. - also quite a good little savvy MSEer in training too... he was the one that spotted the 342 on the go cook knives aaages ago.

Think the postman works on his own clock these days, ours shows up at silly times. Good luck with getting the cash together for the new home sunshinestar0 -
My thought is "Think what you like in your head but watch what comes out of your mouth".
Be careful even doing that for...
"Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks"
Easier said than done, disciplining our thoughts n feelings but the above proverbial saying is certainly true.
You can learn much of folk by how they converse.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
