Really good news nikki, I am so pleased for your DS to get his first offer so early takes such a weight off their minds even if not their first choice, what is he going to study? DD2 had her first interview and then offer for uni that was not her first choice last year, she did not end up going there but it was a big boost to confidence that somebody wanted her. ;)

Just think of the Ts you might be able to visit on the way back from visit days. :T

He wants to study pure maths, He wants to be an investment banker, (No comments please;)) or an actuary. He's picked all 5 uni's that he knows they headhunt from, he's a shrewd little b**ger!!
St Andrews is on his list, just think how many T's from London to Scotland and I could pop in on Happychappy on the way through;)

Morning Wool27, you were up nice and early for Ts. ;)

Have you had any luck with any of the frozen deserts locally?

There were still few packs of 4p medium/large black spotted tights at Fl##tsbr#dg# yesterday. They are at the back of

Not by choice, had to take other half to train station for 5:30. Managed to get another tie, some of the tights you mentioned and 6 of the toy story bags for upcoming birthday loot items.

The lady at ss came over to me so i pushed my cash in so quick, she said, oh, i shouldnt let you have that tie at that price but youve paid now! She completely ignored the bags! Phew.

No frozen desserts to be seen.

I have been so lucky with my 4p finds so far.

Just a heads up, t#w#r p#rk have the finest chocolate tarts 75p but the ice cream party cake scans full price. My friend popped there this morning. She looked for the other frozen deserts too. Also she tried the light choices chocolate puddings and they scanned £1. I got some last week for 25p but I'm not sure from which store. She did only have my descriptions to go on and I couldn't give her barcode for puds and they are in my mums freezer.

Just found this on another thread will have a look and report back
Just back from Mr T Barrow In Furness and they had iMode portable docking system with AM/FM radio for just £4.25 - not a glitch, clearly marked at this price. For anyone local who fancies one they were down past the portable dvd players at the end of the tv/hi-fi clearance aisle on the floor, about 6 left 20 mins ago but be quick!:D

It's this (only pic I could find) - thanks HUKD

I remember you saying maths was his forte. Good luck to him sounds like he has researched his choices well. Hope he gets his first choice, DD1 got hers, DD2 had to settle for her 2nd but after her flying visit at weekend sounds like she has settled in really well and was the right choice for her. I am a great believer in what is meant to be will be, DH says that is a load of rubbish but that's the way I think. ;)

    Good game, good game :p

I got the last bed guards a few weeks ago for a friend, do you have the barcode for the cake stand, MIL bday next month so would come in handy. I keep looking for the pantene but all I can see is the conditioner in the reduces section :( and everytime I spotted the casserole dishes I had forgotten the barcode not I have it the shelf is empty typical.

The scanner in my store is upstairs in the clothing department and I've been followed a few times so didn't want to draw too much more attention going up and down the escalator :rotfl: and it's the only big T's for miles

  • ooh what a rubbish day so far....i know this isnt relevent, but i NEED to tell someone what a !!!! day its been... and its only 1 o clock..

Firstly, needed to take DH to Hospital as hes done something to his knee... turns out that his knee is bu99ered and he will need to have an operation on it.... even then they dont know if it will work...... so that will be a nightmare, as im heavily pregnant, he will be in a wheelchair, 2 kids to look after... plus were moving house in 2 weeks..... God knows how were going to be able to do that now as we cant afford a removal company......

Then, we get to Ts, ready to get a knife set and a few small bits n pieces..... go to look in my purse.... NO money..... ... So drive back home, thinking we have left it on the side...... nope...... looked everywhere for it.... totally gone...... i wont go into how much it was, but it was to pay for the rental deposit on the new house too.....

so , now im sat here, wanting to get some glitches, wanting to secure the house we love sooo much, wishing i could sit up straight but cant coz of my fat tummy, Hubby all cranky coz of his knee... no petrol in the car to pick DS1 up from school and not a penny to our name....... well, about £3.57 we have to be exact.... mainly in 2p jar. lol.

so please.. no glitches or new 4p finds today.. please... i think i will actually have to turn the laptop off for the day.... lol. x

    Then
