Sorry to ask, but is it a rule of thumb that AW10 by the barcode = old stock, and that it all scans at 4p? Or is it trial and error?
My store doesnt't have a price check machine, but they have 2 huge bins of clearance clothing and wondered if it was worth a rumage. tia0 -

Do they look exactly the same as the one priced at £3.97? Ive seen this in store but assuming the 24p stuff is old packaging?0 -

Gosh I wish. Probably for every six to eight pairs of AW10 I scan, one will be 4p. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it, just a case of trial and error.
I hate stores without scanners and only risk it in them if i'm absolutely sure, ie i've already bought the actual ones elsewhere.0 -

A bit of a specialist local one, but as I wandered down the bargain aisle (and as is often the case there were no prices) I noticed there was a shelf load of Rockburn BC850 chromatic tuners (guitar/bass/violin). They are basic but I bought one a year or so ago reduced to £6 and it works well. During the electrical clearout last month they were being sold at£1. Assume that they are still £1 but could be less? Would make a great stocking filler for anyone who is learning to play a stringed instrument and doesn't have a tuner. This is in Stockton Extra.
Noticed today that all of these had gone. Could be that they've been taken off the shelf to make space only to come out again later(happens a lot in my extra!) Did a check on Ebay to find that someone not too far away from me has a large stock of them. Coincidence? Still, it's a free world I suppose.Awaiting a new sig0 -
