No, I'm trying to persuade him that he really doesnt need it;)

    Ahh Baileys, Sending you hugs:(

Thanks hunni, I'll be right, when I get in the swing of things **big brave girl smile ** xx
  • Wow that's good, is it a pack of 5? I was all excited getting one pair of family guy ones for 4p lol

What made you try those ones? Would you mind sharing the barcode please? Hubby asked for new socks yesterday lol

My T's doesn't have a self scanner so have to take my chances with the self scanning tills!

I purely tried those socks, simply because I remember someone on this thread saying AW10, SS10, SS11 and some AW11 may scan cheaply. It was a good guess, I was going to try some others, but I was in a rush, so grabbed those. They're a pack of 5, and the barcode is: 5 052320368068 HTH :j

Have to admit I am a wee bit jealous of those finding the 4p socks boxers, jeans and pj bottoms. All of those are things OH needs and I normally get for Christmas.
    Checked W@th and StairF00t but couldn't see any :(

Keep trying hun, I almost gave up. :)

hi, not part of the usual gang on this thread but had a browse through today and then attacked my 2 local branches... not a bad result

found a potential dtd - couldn't be bothered to try it, but jml dryer balls sel says £2 but they scan at £3.75 which would give you a dtd of £3.50 so they then only cost you 25p

found loads of the sabatier knife sets on the top shelf in one shop (town in w sussex beginning with L) still got a £50 sel, scan for £6 (grabbed a couple for xmas gifts, plenty still on shelf)

in same store also found Veet suprem was or spray hair remover in a clearance area in the h&b aisles, boths had a sel saying £6.95 but each scan at £1.10, they had LOADS of these

again same store also had MYRIADS of the dormen chili peanuts for 25p throughout the boozy aisles on clip strips with £1.09 sel

neutradol green car odour neutraliser things were 50p (on sel) reduced from £2 something

illum set of 5 pumpkin balloons in the ballons & cards area on clip strips still showing as full price of £4 ish but scanning as 88p

there were also 4 packs of mango juice for £1.50 which although not a glitch is a very good price and my kids love the stuff

also lots of the 17p lasagne

and the branston beans glitch was still working at 9pm, though they had removed all the labelling on them
so thanks whoever posted the bargains i got, big smiles

i got some of the illuminating ballons also, but the white ones with the ghost face would never have paid full price for them but ok for 80p

    Im on securitys radar, arghhhh.

Went into Ts at 8, security guy smiled and said ''hello again'' it was my 2nd trip today and you cant miss him as you walk in he stands right on the door, more like a bouncer. I got beans, bread mixes, some stuff for baking cupcakes for a firework party on saturday, etc etc.

I honestly dont know what Im going to do with 200 tins of beans. I actually dont have any storage space for them, and my OH refuses to move them all into the loft.

Went to pay, handed over all my coupons, NO cash card, OH had taken it to go get some cash and not put it back. Suspended transaction, over to CS, to wait for OH to transfer money into my old account as I still had the card. Security guard is eyeing up my trolley, scrutinising my receipt, rifling through my bags after I already said ther was no need to put chilled stuff in the fridge I was only gonna be 2 minutes, makes a couples of odd faces and weird sounds, picks up my coupons and gives them a serious looking over.

I wasnt impressed, I hadnt broke any rules etc, I just didnt like the invasion into my shopping habits. Anyway money finally transferred after a few minutes paid and got out of there.

But whilst I was in there for the 1st time ever I witneesed a reductions BRAWL. About 8 people, quite obviously spend all day drinking cider, had blocked off the reductions aisle whilst the girl reduced items, then as soon as she finished, they jut threw EVERYTHING in their trolley, no one else got a look in, I only wanted down the aisle to get some dip.

Then they rushed round to the bread section and did the same again. I wanted some bread for my brother to put in his freezer, so I thought sod this, walked past them and queued up politely next to the lady. She didnt even put stuff back down after reducing, she kindly handed it to everyone else but this group of 8 people. Thats when it all kicked off, these 8 people started to snatch stuff out of the lady's hand as she was passing it to someone else, it wasnt a nice experience. I mean come on it was a 10p loaf of bread and does anyone really need 50 of them, I only got 1. I felt really sorry for the reductions lady, they were really threatening and intimidating, she couldnt get out of there quick enough. Neither could I.

So i consoled myself with a cream cake and now I feel better, would have been nicer if it was a 10p cream cake however.
