Got one for me and a couple for important occasion pressies.
So thrilled. Really really happy with them!
First real knife set I have ever owned. Can get rid of my cheap Ikea rubbish now. Woohoo.
By the way, I had to try 4 stores until I struck lucky though.
It was so worth it :T
You will be really happy with them for a very long time. We had some for a wedding present 22 years ago and I know they were £50 then and they are still going strong, best knives I have ever used.
The sad thing is I lost one of the set at a big family occassion we had at home several years ago, I think it may have got thrown away. But it may have been that my friends son who had ADHD may have taken it, I didn't think to put them out of sight and few stories after from my friend of him threatening her with a knife and she had to eventually lock her own away, I do always wonder.0 -
Ohhh I'm so glad I found you all again
This mornings finds for me (my school run is past a Tesco extra, so I'm in there daily :S):
Transformers Backpack, SEL 3.75, scanned at 93p
Found Sleepwear and socks at 4p each
Vtech Hello Kitty projector, SEL redued to 7.50, scans at 3.75
Thomas the Tank engine baby cutlery, set of 2 forks and spoons 1p!!!!!!!
Went the self service till, started scanning, out of the blue, after the loungeear pants, i hear a voice saying 'That cant be right', and SA came over. I'm like, dead innocent "what??? As if I can change barcodes! Its a sale price" lol. he was happy enough. I am of the theory that they dont care about the glitch prices (guess its cos we cant alter the codes so its a head office thing), but the DTD is starting to p*ss Mr T off. To be fair, I cant blame them when its seriously misused, as in I have seen people buy 5 pairs of straighteners (advertised at 21, scanned at 49), AFTER scanning them on self scan, knowing that theyre in for a 280 quid payout. I know its their policy, and I'm being a bit 'contraversial', but its ppl like this that risk the DTD policy and give us a hard time with our little bargains :S0 -

Oh dear, I wish I could have posted earlier as I picked up some that were short dated but checked another clip strip and they had a longer date. Nuts is something you do have to be careful with when out of date, not sure of exact reason but sure someone will know.0 -
