Have i got this right, tesco as of tomorrow are not taking those vouchers that we input our receipt details in.
Was going to say API, but that's advanced passenger information, that i've been inputting for the past hour.
Our new tesco opened today and people are going mad, as there's only 1 way in and 1 way out, and it's onto a busy link road, people have been queing for over an hour to get off.
That's not going to go down well.0 -
I had a very nice afternoon in Tesco today. I met up with another 11+ regular and we had a coffee then set off for a mooch around to see if we could use safety in numbers
. I know its against the forum rules but it was like meeting a long lost twin
.
Got a few bargains, 4p tights, purple and red, a couple of jars of free sauce with vouchers and the tiramasu. My "friend of Matin" got a couple of good bits too. Anyway when I went to pay I realised my purse was missing out of my handbag
Security were called and the store manager went to look at the CCTV whilst I flustered and flapped in a panic
Turns out a member of staff found it in the store and had handed it in at the CS desk :T
They won't let staff take a reward so I made a donation in the collecting tin, just to say thank you to whoever was looking after me
Anyway back on topic before I got my purse back I managed to pay for 2x pasta sauce, 1x 2lts bottle of cola, 2x tiramasu, 2x pairs of tights with a £1 coin I found in the bottom of my bag and got 15p change :T
Had a great afternoon too, Fantastic finding somebody like minded, OMG we r gonny have fun fun fun! the purse situation blew us right off our tracts, i even forgot to put my vouchers into machine, can't wait till next week and the week after...... thanks for casserole dishes!

Gonna have to go to poultons park and peppa pig, only trouble is they never have discounts so very expensive. Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -
OMG, Oh just came in with DD2 and said they were looking for the 4p clothing deals when a sa came over to ask what they were doing scanning various bits and pieces and why they had other stuff that they were scanning, IE, moon dough, dog stuff and other bits. They replied that there weren't any sel's and wanted to know the prices. Sa went of and next minute a large man in a plain suit looked as if he was following them. They went to a different part of the store only to find the same man there! Again they went to another part and he appeared again!! My Oh then confronted the man only for him to say it was 'just a coincidence' . They left, but as they did the same man followed them and looked as though he was taking our cars registration. Can they do this??? Bloody worried now.:eek:0

No problem and I still object to you giving me 24p for the 3 dishes :rotfl:
Don't know if I can wait a whole week before we have another mooch so I may be free on Wednesday to hit the other one if you are  :ACouldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can

Hi Ali
Can't actually make out what that is but I'm on my phone, any clues??
Kiddies are hogging the laptop
Hi - your question has been answered - it is indeed a dog toy - nice quality -originally £7.99 (If I remember correctly)
Also found the lindam bed rails today and impulse sets - have looked for them for weeks so very happy today. Tried 3 different moon dough boxes - all three scanned at £15+
Fabulous thread - thanks everyone.Member of the HCSC0 -

hmmmm...this is a 4th person now who's described being followed by security guards etc.
wonder if there has been a memo sent out to tesco workers to keep an eye out on people who scan items at price checkers regularly.

A long long time ago, tesco took my car reg, to do with vouchers at self service. (only used vouchers we had been sent in post by mr t., well before sillyness of using shed loads of vouchers for non purchases! >and the amount of johnsons baby powder we had purchased!!!
I saw the security guard watching us, and follow to the car so i went back in and asked if he had a problem. Apparently he didnt but someone did. Few hours later, police at door. Tesco store thought we wer up to something but didnt know what. Policeman was very apologetic but true story. Suffice to say went to same tesco next day for more extra points and nothing was said, but we were watched!!!Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0
