Hello all, I am coming out of lurkdom to report a possible misprice.
This evening in r*chdale main store a member of staff went up to the customer service desk with some dog food as she had been overcharged. When given her money she said don't worry about the extra 10p- put it in the charity box.
The food looked like this http://m.tesco.com/mt/www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=251095709 It may be a different flavour to this- I didn't have my glasses on!
For those with working scanners it may be worth testing out. :-) I'm posting here rather than the other thread because like reading about jacket potatoes. ;-P

*tip toes away into the shadows with the other GRATEFUL lurkers. :-)

Dont hide, everyone's welcome here (apart from trouts) :D

This was posted by Stephga23 @ 10pm today on the Smarties glitch thread (now moved to the 'It's Gone' forum).

I didnt realise the offer had expired however went in tonight and picked up 2 aero peppermint and 2 aero chocolate.

scanned and paid for 2 aero chocolate first which came off buy one get one free at 90p - great!

scanned 2 aero peppermint and they scanned at full price of £1.97 even when going to pay they didn't reduce. Sales assistant manually reduced them for me though.

Thought i would give you the heads up incase anyone doesn't notice and nearly pays full price.

Realised when i was leaving the shop i could have got dtd!! Oh well! I'm more than happy with my bargain :D

The aero chocolate weren't going through as bogof during the glitch. Maybe Tesco overlooked the price on this as it wasn't flying off the shelves when the glitch was corrected? Can anyone confirm please?

I tried both the mint aero and the milk choc aero this afternoon in my local express (Chad Heath, Essex). The milk choc aero was still on reduced price label of 98p(?) and scanned at that but no BOGOF kicked in. The mint aero had SEL of £1.97 and scanned at that although these did go through as BOGOF.

    HTH.

  • gutted finally dragged myself to T's and someone got there before me on the cardi's wouldn't mind but I sent OH in on the day it was posted as it was originally spotted in my store but he said there was none (typical useless man :D) So I was determined I was going to find a bargain all casserole dishes where wrong barcode, no PJ's scanned loads of clothing but nothing was lower than the sel. All I managed was 1 packet of dormen cashews 84p princes hot dogs b1g2f and the peg basket thing. I don't even have a washing line  but I needed a bargain to cheer me up :rotfl:. Couldn't think what else I should be looking for andI forgot my phone so couldn't even check.

Oh and batteries not working either went through bogof only, ws working there last nigh :(

Wish I'd stayed wrapped up on the couch now.

Thanks to whoever posted about the pjs. I scanned a couple of them and found that both rugby designs were showing up as £1. I got the ones with blue bottoms and cream top with 'Great tackle' written in green. there were loads left in B*L*eys. I also found a Tesco Karabiner Weather station barcode 5051898 839673 - £1! :)

    Hey everyone:)
I've not read back yet, just wanted some advice.

Just got back from T's and we are so annoyed! My aunty is looking for a bed guard as well as my mums friend as their LO's are moving into big beds:) and we have been looking in all 4 of our locals for a bedguard and each one NEVER have any! So imagaine our delight to find three there tonight!

SEL said £25ish but everyone has reported them going for 60p so we took it for a price check (no scanners). The lady took it, scanned it, grinned and started looking from the bedguard to the scanner in disbelief all the while with a massive grin across her face. She then says 'um, we cant sell you this' and me and mum just looked at her, she offered no reason why? So my mum asked why and she said 'um, um, i just cant. Its erm, ... not on file'.

I thought i had my mum trained but next, she asked my mum if there were any left on the shelf and she said yes!!:( :( so off the lady went and took them back behind her sales desk. We walked around the corner and then she then called two SA's over and suddenly grins spread accross their faces too. We actually needed them and she was sharing them with her friends right in front of us:(

    - Do you think this is worth a phonecall/email or are they perfectly in their rights to refuse to sell it to me to obviously keep it to themselves?

    TIA xx

I can't believe you actually stood for that!! I'd have had the store manager there in an instant! You need to complain in the STRONGEST of terms. email philip clarke and send a copy of the email to the store manager and the district manager.

He who grins last grins widest! :D
