Im hanging my head in shame.
Looked at wine for father in laws christmas present, i dont drink so have no clue when it comes to alcoholic drinks.
Saw an ood sel 7.79 each or 2 for 10.
Picked up 2, kids getting restless with trolley full of choc!
Decided that at £5 for 2 bottles it was an ok dtd.
What was i thinking, i did the maths soooooo wrong. Every two bottles would have been free.
Going to spend rest of night behind the sofa (with some chocolate)
Hi, sorry if I am being a bit dippy but how would it have been free? I make it £1.50 a bottle - am I missing something?
You would have paid 7.99 * 6 = 47.94 - less 25% discount = 35.95
Should have paid 2 for £10 = £30 less 25% discount = £22.50
£35.95 - 22.50 = 13.45 doubled = 26.90 back meaning you would have paid £9 for 6 bottles?HCSC Member 980 -

7.79 X 2 = 15.58
Price should be £10
Overcharge 5.58
5.58 X 2 = 11.16 (DTD)
15.58-11.16 = £4.42
Making it 2.21 a bottle ??MSE- The Glitchhikers guide to the galaxy

Just got back from 3rd express!!!! got the smarties and aeros after asking a lovely sa if she had anymore smarties in the back. she came out with a full box and said is it just the one pack ! ( I think not lol ) no I would like 8 packs pls I reply to which she said you can have the whole box if you want. yeyyyyy:j . that makes up for earlier when in extra looking at TVs with other half I noticed the TCO had an OOD sel on b1g1f. I told him I wanted to try them as the sel was OOD but he said no lets just go, just dropped him to the pub went straight to tescos again and guess what ! all half price SELs gone ! as I missed out of TCO the other week I thought great not as good deal as you all got but a good deal with DTD so now i have to eat an aero instead.
£5 a day = £155/£150 for Sept challenge :j
£5 a day Oct challenge = £19.12 / £1550
