You should have asked how much they pay for you doing their job for them! Cheeky so and so.

If she'd asked me I would have said 'Are you saying its my fault you have incorrct prices up?' and left her to ponder that.

as you say probably best to stay low in their for a while or at least until a different cs is on the desk.;)

It's always the way that you think of things after the event, but when I told OH he said exactly the same.
Said I should of said about the 3 staff chatting at the electrical desk rather than checking the SELS that were more than a day out of date.

The phones are going to good home only next door though to our elderly neighbour. When I presented them to her last night, she was overjoyed. She told me she will put one in the living room, kitchen and bedroom so she can hear it.
When I said it was an early xmas gift, she welled up. That cancels out CS response for me :D

Sent an email to Mr Clarke asking for the situation "are we entitled to a refund if we have already had all our money back on DTD?" The reply...

I was sorry to learn that, not only were you overcharged for a Barbie car in our $$$$$$$$$ store, but that you were unable to obtain a refund when you later returned it. I can appreciate the confusion and disappointment caused.

In these circumstances, you would still be entitled to a refund of the correct price of the item, which is £12.50. This is because you had already been refunded this amount, which was the discrepancy between the two prices. The other £12.50 is refunded to you as part of our double the difference policy, as a gesture of goodwill.

I have discussed your complaint with Suzanne $$$$$, our Store Manager, who asked me to pass on her apologies to you for the upset caused. She will arrange for retraining to be carried out by her Customer Service Manager, &&&&&&& , and will talk to ######## personally. Suzanne has advised that, if you ask for her or &&&&&& on your next visit, she will ensure you receive your refund, and she can then apologise to you in person.

this is the email regarding DTD refunds.

My very nice postlady delivered me a nice surprise today. I won a 3 month supply of Unilever products from their facebook VIP section (from discount codes and money off coupons thread.... very MSE).

And what did I get I hear you asking...... only £159 in various £1, £2, £3 and £5 vouchers :T

Now I have my work cut out for me to maximise my return. I'll be on the my supermarket website for the rest of the morning :D

This makes up for missing out on most of the best glitches recently (well apart from my one 8p casserole dish). Can I admit I did a little dance as I opened the envelope :o
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(
