If there is nothing wrong with them, Tesco is under no obligation whatsoever to refund them
Please can people understand this.and stop misinforming others.
I'm sure you didn't mean to come across as sharp
This query has come up a number of times and there is an email floating around from customer services to say they will refund but only the SEL price not the overcharge part.Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -

I know that.... but they are still not under any obligation to do so legally.
If the have clearly stated that they will not accept a refund on any item then they do not have to unless faulty goods0 -

Since when did a right cow of a trout change UK consumer law or Tesco policy?0 -

You are right... I do not mean to be sharp.... just trying to make the point that no shop or trader, whether it be Tesco, M&S or Joe Blobbs has to refund any item just because you dont want it/brought wrong size etc,0 -

Womens t-shirts?
No, they are mens, supposed to be nightwear but fine as t-shirts. I tend to be a jeans and sweatshirt kind a person most of the time, or out in the garden doing stuff, absolutly fine for this. My DS now has LOADS of small...... and then MORE in medium to grow into.I could barely resist them at £1 a pack, but 4p!!!!!
I didn't even get trouted....no self scanner in store so I got a price check at pharmacy, and she said 'they are 4p' and hardly battered an eyelid. :jThen at SS oldish male SA had to keep coming over as I also had clothing items with hangers that were messing up the scales.... he was totally not bothered either...... Well done Mr T Spr0w5t0n! :T

A trout can write non refundable on a receipt but it does not change your rights under UK consumer law or Tesco policy.
So we have a situation where you get DTD then shortly later decide to get a refund because (a) damaged (UK consumer law) or (b) changed your mind (Tesco policy 28 days).
CS may look at the receipt and see what is written on it and decide not to refund you (incorrectly).
You will have to take it higher and you will win.0
