Also I wanted to buy single packs of moon dough that didn't scan - this time they refused to sell saying they tried to get a price but couldn't get one at all???? Anyong know if they were reduced - its like a little moon shaped plastic box containing moon dough? I couldn't see a SEL so chanced my arm.
I had one of these a few weeks ago when my local was doing the big toy reduction- also came up as not on file and they wouldn't sell it. Not seen the same thing on the shelf since.

They were a nice size weren't they ? I'd really of liked to buy them as they were a good wee stoking filler ! I had 4 of them in all different colours - boxes were all a bit battered but my boys just rip the boxes apart anyway !

Single crescent moon shaped pack of Moon Dough - green pack from memory?

    Found a pic:

These scanned with the staff handheld scanner at £1 in my local but came up not on file at the till. After some umming and ahhhing the checkout manager said that as I'd been told the price they'd sell them.

Went and got the Christmas Spirits at Asda , They had Gordons Gin , Bells Whisky , Captain Morgan Rum, Bacardi and Smirnoff Vodka all at £13 Litre . Will put reciept in price check thingy in the morning and that should give me the £5 voucher they are offering at the moment , did have a bit of an accident when I was there , dropped a bottle of Rum and smashed it all over the place , hung head in shame , then got home and found DS2 had nearly caught the house alight , putting the wrong burner on the cooker on and stinking the place out with smoke.

Extra's that have 24 hr opening usually go down to 80% between 8pm & 9pm and that usually includes flowers, fruit & veg and chilled.
Sundays are always good from 3pm(Always check out the bakery bit, usually lots of apple pies in mine!!!) and if it opens at 10am on a Sunday they usually open at 9.30am just for browsing and in both my Extras that's when all the meat is 1/2 price;)

My Extra starts the reductions in the morning, only 5-10% off. A lot of it goes at lunch time (still only 20% off at best) and by 7pm there's hardly anything left - completely rubbish on the whoopsie front. :(

Sometimes I wish people would stop buying whoopsies at the high prices and force them to give us a decent discount, like at other T's
