ooh how exciting:j have just got off at victoria and will be going over to st thomas later for appt at 4pm, then backto victoria for train home abt 8ish, so time to kill either side of appt. Any help would be gratefully rec'd:)

Only an express on the other side of westminster bridge from St Thomas. All central London Tescos are expresses or metros I think, but nearest metro is either charing cross or elephant and castle. I will add this on here as I can't remember how to add on a new post, sorry, am a bit dumb - had an email today from lovemoney with extra savings of a further 25% off sale prices online at asda, plus some other bits.
    Almost forgot the email!!

Highlights this week include buy one, get one half-price mix and match at BHS this weekend, 75% off George at Asda online until midnight, 25% off at Warehouse, Banana Republic and Tesco, free delivery at Miss Selfridge and Monsoon, half-price sales at Peacocks, Topshop and up to 70% off at Asos, TK Maxx and Viyella. Plus, save 20% on sale items at Evans this weekend, get £5 off a £50 spend at The Hut, or £3 off a £25 spend at Asda, preorder the complete Harry Potter collection for £25.50 and save over £52 on seasons 1-3 of Californication!

Ok - well I got some great wee bargains today in my tesco -

    4 x tesco out there water guns - 50p
    bouncy balls - 20p
    Thomas busy day - £4.50

Also I wanted to buy single packs of moon dough that didn't scan - this time they refused to sell saying they tried to get a price but couldn't get one at all???? Anyong know if they were reduced - its like a little moon shaped plastic box containing moon dough? I couldn't see a SEL so chanced my arm.

Tried and failed on the luggage - they only had kensington cases ! And Salter scales were all still covered ! Boo !

Artha in no way have I been involved in a slagging match with you. If you feel that your posts have been taken out of context then I would suggest that you start adding the odd smilie or wink to your posts so as people are aware that you are joking. This thread is a happy, nice, helpful one of which I am sure you aware, ;);) ;)

Ok thanks for posting I'll try a little harder in future. I'm a nice person really. Honest:o

I had one of these a few weeks ago when my local was doing the big toy reduction- also came up as not on file and they wouldn't sell it. Not seen the same thing on the shelf since.

Can anyone advise please...I live about 30 mins drive away from my nearest large Tesco's but I've got to collect some of the bath sheets I ordered online. (yay!!) and am wondering when is the best time to go for bargains.
I went last Sunday to see if there were any of the £1 clothes left (no!!) and managed to get several really good (fillet steak, chicken breasts, lamb steaks!) whoopsies on the meat counter.
Is Sunday always a better day for reduced food or should I leave it until Monday evening in case there are any DTD's too and hope they still have good whoopsies?
I'm off to Sainsbob's tonight as I need to collect a prescription, but it's very hit and miss, reductions wise. Sometimes I go and they are really good and another time there's absolutely nothing. Morrison's is the same except there is usually cheap bread and pies etc. from the instore bakery.
I'm getting addicted to T's now though after years of very rarely shopping there......and it's all you lot's fault :rotfl:I can't believe the stuff I've missed!! I just wish I had a decent one closeby!

Right, Whoopsies are so my speciality:rotfl: Let's start at the beginning, What time does that T's close?
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

They were a nice size weren't they ? I'd really of liked to buy them as they were a good wee stoking filler ! I had 4 of them in all different colours - boxes were all a bit battered but my boys just rip the boxes apart anyway !

He had chicken breast+pasta, fish&chips and two pieces of cake...
I had prawn sandwich, something smoked salmon(blah...left it behind) and a strawberry tart...
    A good breakfast/lunch I'd say ;)
Plus: some juice, cider(unfortunately they only had alkohol-free ones otherwise I'd get more then the 3 cans I did), 5 mini wines, bars of chocolate(6), 3 bags of butter sweets, 3 bags of other sweets, 20 bags of coffee and some bananas :eek::eek:
Even bf was enjoying it and I thought he would be embarassed but he wasn't really(well I went to get the second lot of things myself just in case...)

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Did it in two goes(as it will be fine for what I need from there) and the SA was lovely and only laughing... so that's nearly 55 and 35 in vouchers for me! :D
Now noone can tell me it's not money saving... we only went to the cafe today and left through the entrance door... next time to use my vouchers I'll only go to get what I need... that means all the goodies today are for FREE as I would get those things from Ikea anyway...
Went to the mr T next door too but only to get what I needed... didn't want to upset bf before IKEA ;) scanned some children bedding sets but all full price :(
Oh well, my route is planned for tomorrow as there are 3 Ts on the way back from my interview  now just praying bf won't be called into work and mess my plans up(he needs the car then)

So jealous, Am working and really want to go to ikea now:(
