The Tesco.com website is currently experiencing a rare technical glitch that has affected some of our sites. We’re working hard to get them up and running as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and look forward to seeing you soon.

I wondered what was wrong as I couldn't get the Tesco Finder App to work earlier, then I tried using the normal website and that wouldn't work either.0 -
Your dinner sounds lovely - recipe please, as have a few bogof chickens that didn't kick in!
At W4tf0rd today, my favourite white wine was still on 'offer' at £5.00 per bottle, so stocked up with several boxes. Shock, horror, it went thro' the till at £9.29 per bottle:eek::eek:, as I realised outside. Went to CS and half an hour later, yesI had been overcharged and offered the difference back. I explained that whilst I was waiting, I had been reading the board behind them and about if you were overcharged you got dtd. Oh, hmm, ok she said, so that will be er calcultator back out, £231.66p. :T Whilst waiting for the 4 cs's to try to in put it into the computer, a chap next to me had been overcharged on a pear shaped tin of ham. Should have been 1.24 or 1.64 according to the sign but he was charged 1.96. When the cs came back, she said to him, you know you get dtd now, don't you, looking at me!
There was other red wine there with ood sels, I think, £12 for 3 bottles - this offer wasn't on in the other store I visited where the sav blanc was also on the 'same' £5.00 offer! Would certainly go well with your dinner, Czerniacha and at 55p per bottle, very MSE!:beer:. The Vic biscuits were also with a sel of £6.00. Pork still stickered at £2.00 but goes thro at £4.00. HTH
can I ask what wine it was? :cool:
PS. And for the chicken there is no special recipe(but then again I never use any...), I just stuff the chickens bum with cut onions and mushrooms(usually also prunes but all gone) and then rub it with the spices I like(and mustard, olive oil, honey, etc) and roast it... Of course had some white wine with it(thanks mr T as always)
last bottle however so I might look for some free wine tomorrow... guess where

DTD = double the difference.
if things dont add up the price you pay happens to be different you can claim double the difference back..... im sure someone has said before lol0 -
Well after reading/catching up then reading some more on here I felt inspired about all your wonderful finds to once again visit my local T's. Wish I hadn't bothered:(:(
No decent electrical finds, no toys were around, or any other stuff to be had at great prices. Would have liked one of the body clock thingies (not sure how they work or anything but my friend is a genuine SAD sufferer and would have liked it for crimbo for her).
So I'm having to make do with the wine glitch instead:D:D:D0 -

double the difference
which should be given to you at customer service if you've been overcharged(like price on the shelf 5gbp and you paid 10 or sticker on an item 2gbp and you've been charged 4 - this are the "free items" examples - sometimes dtd is only pennies(I don't bother then LOL))
oh, and welcome!0
