  • Couldn't find any irons at my local but got HP laptop @£149 (last one) reserved til tomorrow with the help of nice tech guy! Tried the Mcvities tin biscuits and foxes boxed chocolate boxes but still full price and SEL the same.
Lots of toys being reduced and flying off the shelves (staff grabbing loads!) My kids are too old for toys but did enquire about Monopoly - Brighton Edition, now half price @£12.49!

Mine are being delivered late tonight and tomorrow night - £3.50 delivery. I've bought some other stuff too.

Isn't this stuff taken from the shop floor though, so if it is not on the shop floor, they won't be able to deliver it to you?

Could be interesting with substitutions though!

Ok, sorry, I've got to go back to the broadband topic...

Emailed my future landlord about the landline query and he said there is none and the entire building is on Sky broadband. From what I can see on the website it's 5/10gbp a month and 12.50 line rental so ca.20gbp/month hmm... any advice on that one?

Yes, it is taken from the shop floor. I went there today and there was nothing marked up cheaply so either the SELs are incorrectly priced or I am going to be very disappointed!

Just looking at the grocery web site and they are showing Tesco Out there Bubble Bee as 35p! There is no picture but if you search on their Direct site they are shown as:

I don't know if that's what you will get when you order though.

Just because the rest of the building are on Sky Broadband doesn't mean you have too. I'm not sure how Sky works but I'm pretty sure you still need a phone line as it's not as if the broadband comes through the satellite dish. You're best to ask on the Techi forum here. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=29

A friend of mine two streets over has Sky broadband and it took him nearly 3 hours to download an iPhone update a few months back. I'm on TalkTalk and it took me less than 10 minutes and we are both on the same exchange. TBH, I've never heard anything good about Sky BB.
