i found one of the scales going through at £39.97, bought it, went to get DTD and CSA refused to give me DTD as it is a "manufacturer fault" not theirs :( refunded the difference but not double :(

you should of stood your ground - doesnt matter where the discrepancy lies...it doesnt lie with you - they shouldnt sell mispriced products and not honour their own DTD policy!

also...in my opinion, its not a manufacturer fault -as far as I'm aware, Mr T load their own info (ie barcodes) onto their systems, and therefore set their own price,.... so they should have set the correct price and labelled it correctly through their systems!

Try giving CS a ring and explain - they might offer you DTD and tell you to go back to store to reclaim the rest of what you are owed! :)

edited - just noticed your updated posts- well done you!!! Now you know your rights...take...ahem...full advantage!!
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

Just got 4 packs of the chicken and they gave me £24 back and free chicken quite like in here lol. Also got the BOG2F jammie dodgers. Found the scales but had stickers on them in both stores.

OKay went out again, mother wanted to look for £1 clothes but I wanted to look for chicken & pork anyway. After much searching I found the chicken but scanned loads of pork mince still don't know which is the one I'm looking for.

Got 4 packs of chicken (I mustn't take my mother with me, kept saying why are you buying so much chicken we don't want all that chicken) BOGOF didn't come up , I checked the barcode very carefully, got marched round to the shelf by C.S. kept telling me it was the wrong chicken, I knew it wasn't, then muttered SEL out of date, then tried to give me £12 instead of £24. After all that mother says "Why didn't you get more!"

C.S. took SEL off sorry Nikkilala or anyone else planning to go to Old Y

But we did find the shower creme all scanning correctly but it smells great
