morning everyone
I'm gutted I missed the PS3 deal last nightIf bf was at home and I could have a car I'd go last night and hunt for it... Didn't bother this morning as I knew from the HUKD thread that it was mad last night already and there is no chance it would work today... It would make a perfect Xmas pressie for bf, he's talking about it for ages now... oh well, I hope mr T will have a nice glitch on it before xmas too
I will be going to 2 stores later as bf at home and I can have his car(he's definitely not coming with this time as I have enough of his moaning...)
I need some cleaning stuff and some food but not much... will have a look for some bargains mentioned here yesterday...
I'm giving up with the rice/risotto glitch...
hope you all have a nice day!0 -
Casserole dishes were scanning at full price at old Y & BB last night, but BB has lots of the 59p pringles if you're going there;) rib flavour and bacon extreme ones.
Are you aware these dishes have two different barcodes? Its only the one that scans at 8p. Can't give you the numbers right now as I don't have them to hand.
Great thread by the way, but shouldn't this be moved to the shopping board?
Oh I saw mention of a set of electronic scales but scrolled back and couldn't find any further details. Can someone furnish me with the info I need please? Ta.0 -
In response to the bolded part...I could not agree more.
There are certain little groups of members that like to keep many things between their so called 'friends' rather than sharing amongst us all openly.
For example......Thread titled...Non coupon related drivel
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3520829
What do you find in there ? Coupons, plenty of them.
Along with freebies, competitions, grabbits, glitches, misprices etc etc.
It's their little hideaway for some reason, so this thread and others like it are not really unique.
And do you know why there are threads like the non Coupon related drivel and this thread? It's because people wanted things laid out on a plate for them and didn't want any chit chat making their job harder. Unfortunatley for them, this site isn't HUKD and people have a sense of community as opposed to those who have a sense of entitlement.
It's unfortunate that there are little 'cliques' like us (if that's what we are now known as) but it's because of the few that complain. I like the chat and banter hence I post on this thread and not the Misprice 12 thread. Funny how many posts our thread gets even apart from the drivel
That wasn't a go at you Milo just in case you thought it was. It's just a simple explanation for those with large wooden spoons who try to stir up trouble. We exist because the lazy backsided folk on the main grabbit didn't like anything other than a nicely organised list of bargains they could take advantage of without putting in any leg work or sharing their info.
So on a more positive note, I won a fiver with the Extra competition :T Now I seem to be behind on the bargains and could do with stocking up on Pringles for the long winter nights. Apart from reading about Bacon & Rib flavours, any more info or is it a case of scanning them to see? TIA
Edit: and for those talking about the casserole dishes, it's the one with barcode ending 045 that scans at 8p so you need to check them all.0 -
artha, some, if not a lot, of what you have posted recently really has come across in the wrong way. not just to myself but clearly also to many others as well. Maybe it's just the way you word things that some ( a lot?) of the members don't like and that is why you have received some of the replies that you have so far.

It has never been my intention to deliberately offend, only to challenge views in a reasoned and calm way and I have never ever had responses like those I've had on this particular thread. I've been quite shocked at some of them and realise that the main users are perhaps just a prickly bunch despite the friendly claims. I cannot see anything that a reasonable well balanced person would object to unless they take something out of context(i.e. don't read the history) or imagine an ulterior motive. Seeing the silly exchanges a couple of nights ago between this thread and the Money Savers Arms people should have been a warning. I won't go into the reasons why I think it happens on this thread as it will no doubt just generate calls of foul play when it is just innocent observation.
I will steer clear of posting anything on this thread in future as its futile. (I'm assuming it has a future as it's been moved twice before)
Ok now I'm off to start a vote on whether new grabbits should only be posted on the main grabbit board and not a Gone etc board so that poor people and those with iphones can have an easy life;) Chill outAwaiting a new sig0 -
Just seen this on HUKD, sounds like a pretty good deal. Don't really drink fizzy drinks myself but thought it might help a few people out. Unsure if this is just Metro stores at the moment, but will post an update when I have one.

Morning all, it's nice and sunny down south just right for a trip to see Mr T!The ones that I got were the bacon ones and the rib ones, both extreme and 59p a tube:)
Were they the bigger tubes nikki as they definitely scanned at £1 in my store, there was another Mamma mia flavour that was £1 too and I'm sure someone reported it 25/29/59p not sure. I will have to try a different store see what flavours they have, DH is not sure about the basil in the tomato and mozarella ones. Hope they are nice I got quite a few. I used to like tomato flavour crips from years ago, not sure if tomato sauce or what brand, a childhood memory.0
