Evening all, what a couple of days on this thread! Lets hope all gets resolved & we have Grabbits back where they belong & all the bickering stops!
There will always be people who want to change things but if it ain't broke don't fix it!

So, I managed to get DTD on £5 meal deal today. Bought DH bolognaise pie, chicken pasta side dish for me & Cadburys choc pud to share! Offer didn't kick in so went to CS to get DTD. I went with SA to check in the fridge what should be in the Deal. Anyways, she called over a guy to confirm I picked up the right items. Then she whispered to me that he was Polish & that all these pricing errors were their fault for putting out the wrong things (all the foreign workers). :eek:Shocked me a bit as this kind of thing happens in any T store regardless of natonality.

So, she then tries to give me JTD so I questioned her & she said it's not technically a pricing error. I said well I've been overcharged & it is T's policy to give DTD. Her manager was behind her & said I was right so I got DTD. It annoys me as this particular SA I've been to on several occcasions;) on my successful trips & she should know the score by now.

basically, this is a chill out thread.

we talk about tesco deals, glitches, DTD in between all the chit-chat.

grab a cuppa and a slice of cake and join in if you want.....

Thanks for the offer but I'm not really a general chit chat/facebook type but that doesn't mean I object to others engaging in it. I do however enjoy a bit of verbal sparring/philosophy(without offensive intent of course) and this thread is probably not the best place.

As there is good new(i'e' not gone but etc) information that is posted only here at times I suppose I'll just have to continue trying to skim read it to find the few gems that you good people post along with the other threads I read where the info probably belongs. If I knew they were posted on both then it probably wouldn't be so frustrating at times. Anway I'm sure you will just carry on regardless;). I suppose that it keeps the lurkers busy. Heaven forbid that we should just have a list convenient for those who just want to take and not give anything
    Awaiting a new sig

I voted yes by the way. To be honest I skim through the Grabbit board as there's not much on there anymore then come to this thread for the deals & follow the chat it's fab. Thank you to all who contribute.

    :)

of course we do "quick updates" for busy people who don't have time to read everything however I must agree that there are sometimes good deals mentioned that don't "hit the headlines" and unless you read all the posts you won't know...

but I guess there is enough "everything on the plate" Tesco threads now(thanks to redfox ;)) so that noone needs to read 30-50 pages everyday to find some Tesco deals...

    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
  • I've voted it is so much easier with it all in just the one place. Countless times I've seen something, run out of the house/office, got to T's and then had to check the grabbit board on my phone just to make sure I've got the right items. Now the posts are all over the shop it'll take ages... :wall:

I've just had my mum email me and ask what's going on. She's at the end of her rope and is saying (rightly) that it's getting to the stage it's not worth it.

I may not like HUKD and the hot/cold/show us yer receipt philosophy but at least things are in the right place and don't get moved left right and centre.

Right Headmistress Caz says it's time for bed. No Pilgrims cheese in case of nightmares and for those of you (who like me) have trouble sleeping, you have my permission to have a wee glass of vino.
