Evening Peeps :hello: wow how long was i gone?? you guys can natter lol well i've been a busy little elf done some christmas wrapping as i had no ohter option with T's being sooo generous i have run out of places to hide pressies :rotfl:
The £1 sale in my local was rubbish nothing there even worth £1 but can't complain after how fortunate i've been ,
missed the terry's chocolate oranges but considering i have lost 2 1/2 stone and only have 1 to go to get to my target weight that's probably a good thing :j
gonna go and read through the 60 or 70 pages i have missed out on if i'm not back before midnight send in the search party lol
in the meantime i hope you are all well

has anyone check under the huge pile of tco?life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -
You make good point that I have to totally agree with. I regularly implore friends/family to check their receipts but it often falls on deaf ears. In fact I've often been accused of being a bit of a saddo for doing this. It worries me that, despite the apparent current economic downturn, some people bleat on about how hard up they are can't even be bothered to do some very simple things to help themselves.
I never used to check my T's reciepts properly, just thought all the discounts come off automatically, so how could there be a mistake:o, but I've learnt the error of my ways and regularly check. Haven't been overcharged much but when I got 4 bottles of Bold a while back for free after DTD, I now know to check my reciepts!0 -

They were bringing Welsh T-shirts out in Tesco this PM for £19.99... Hmmmmmmmmm they might be joining the £1 rail tomorrow afternoon!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Honestly it looked like wales rugger tops in my T today for a quidShop one - A vs T

SFA were great - do you remember them touring with their blue tank?
Well, I popped over to Br*ckne11 Home+ today to see what it was like and was totally disappointed.Huge bum fight around what seemed to be 1 measly rail of £1 clothes (and no, even at the bargain price of £1 i still didn't want an alice band with a little santa hat attached
) and found the store a bit depressing overall
No more 8p casserole dishes there (well from the ones I cluncked about and checked
) and don't think I'll be heading back there anytime soon.
yeah I've followed SFA from the start, been backstage with them loads of times even T n park. They sent me last copy of the man don't give a !!!! with a letter saying it. All started cause bouncers in Glasgow were being James blunts & won't let him into a concert asking for proof even tho he was 21
soz for goin off topic but I'm sure T sell SFA :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Shop one - A vs T

lol...i love the chat on this thread..it makes me laugh that you all seem to get along so well, just from (years?) being on here! I've had so many bargains and DTDs in the last month of being 'actively'on here its unreal...I cant believe I ever paid full price for things before a month ago! Now my friends are telling me things like 'oooh theres a hlafprice sale on at toys r us/sainsburys etc'and I'm like...'half price...pffft...thats way too expensive'!!!
Going to catch up on this and the other threads now, although kind of hoping theres no glitch on tonight as only just got in from work and trapped my finger in the door while I was there and now cant move my fingers properly so dont fancy driving! And I'm not oneof the lucky ones that has a participating partner...my hubby likes the glitches and DTDs we get...but would get confused and mess it up if he had to do it himself..bless him!hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -

Ahhh, I have a copy of Man don't give a !!!! at my M's house, though the cover has been lost somewhere - i think I must have taken it somewhere in the hopes of getting it signed. One of my fondest festival memories is sitting on their tank at Reading listening to Underworld play Born Slippy (now I'm showing my age!)Went off their later stuff but early years of Hometown Unicorn, Something for the Weekend (not to be confused with equally fab Divine Comedy version) and of course Man don't give a !!! were great.
Whoops - sorry folks for waffling off topicFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

The whole idea of getting 50 odd cans of free soup was to save money, if I go round buying chicken and veg it defeats the object a bit doesn't it?
Although I think I've some frozen chicken breasts in the freezer so that could be one way to use them up.
Can't you take them back to Mr T and get arefund or exchange ?0
