Try wombling. That is making good use of the receipts that folks leave behind.
In other words entering receipts on the Tesco price check site. If the shop was cheaper at Asda you get a voucher for the difference.
If the receipt has unclaimed clubcard points, take em to CS with your clubcard.
If it's out of necessary then that is a great way to reduce your midweek shopping bills.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Had a nose in her bag on the way past and they looked like short chestnut UGG type boots. Don't know if this is a random one. Might be worth checking.
Presc@t Ts still putting out pet accessories, got a cat litter tray with a lid on for £3.75.
Like this but with a turquoise base.

Hello fellow presc@t shopper.......................:beer:0 -
cant believe my dh told me today that I need to stop shopping and use up whats in my cupboards. How can he suggest such a silly thing when Tesco are giving things away? As I was pulling the shopping out of the bags I made him guess the price of everything so now he has said he doesnt have to give me a big budget for the food shopping anymore! His idea of a big food budget by the way is £100 for a family of 6 a week. He reckons we should cut down to £20 a week. If thats the way he wants it the only thing I will be buying at the supermarket from now on is milk as we go through gallons of the stuff! Now I would be very happy to get a milk glitch! My opinion is neither copyrighted nor trademarked, and it's price competitive. If you like, I'll trade for one of yours.0

I daren't say how much my bill equates to when the weeks are averaged out. You'd keel over!
Let's just say my very modest weekly budget for a family of 4 lasts me 2-3 weeks now. That is taking advantage of newspaper coupons like they are going out of fashion, etc.
Bulking up on items with long dates is awesome too. I sm on my last arm n hammer toothpaste from DTD days. I have lots of shampoo, bleach, washing up liquid, laundry liquid, etc, etc.
Kilos of rice, pasta, etc.
It's great cos as you say, it only leaves the perishables to buy on an as and when basis.... Which usually means at teatime for the whoopsies!
Good for you!
Feels so good to be out of the red and in the black.
Long may it continue....:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Because of opportunities I have found on this forum I have been able to stock up on a lot of things I used to buy on a regular basis.
My freezer is full and my garage has a healthy stock of toilet rolls, tissues, shampoo, clothes washing liquid, dishwasher tablets and so on.
Most weeks now I buy vegetables and milk and little else which is brilliant. If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0 -

Stock up on things like these too when in offer such as now:
Tesco Value Baby Wipes Fragrance Free 80
£0.23 (£0.00/each)
Tesco Value Baby Shampoo 500Ml
£0.09 (£0.02/100ml)
Tesco Value Baby Lotion 500Ml
£0.09 (£0.02/100ml)
The baby shampoo I buy in bulk for my soap dispensers. I use it as a shower gel too in the dispenser on the bath!
It all helps to shave yer bill down:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

... Better still, stock up on the value items in a home delivery and accept substitutions. I have masses of johnsons baby bath!!!
(Not as cost efficient really though as the bottles are smaller). The quality is the same though in my opinion!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
