"I'm not sure if this is the right place for this or that anyone will actually be bothered but I'll post anway
I've just picked up 2 packets of Uncle Bens Express Basmati Rice at £1.68 bogof.
However, on the receipt it takes off the £1.68 bogof & randomly another 36p as a 'Juicy 2 for £3' so it makes them 66p per pack.
This was at the H#nley store."life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -
What a great idea - sheer genius.
There could also be the Tescathalon:
Five events:
Baiting
Glitching
Wombling
DTD
and JTD
how much stuff can you get free (from glitches)
and getting paid to take stuff away (again from glitches)
ohh nearly forgot a third event. how many security guards first names you know:eek:life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -

Another event: Speed scanning (I suspect many improved their times during the jelly glitch)
and: Surreptitious Scanning (as often done at the price checkers);)0 -

I think, well I'm almost certain, I was followed around the upstairs at T's today, by a plain clothes security bod, where they have electrical & bedding etc, he was so flippin obvious.
Smart shirt & tie when I first saw him i thought he must be one of those management types from H.O. that are always wandering around with bits of paper pretending they know how to make us spend more (if only they knew what a glitch was):D but then I realised he wasn't carrying anything & had no I.D. badge or visitors pass. Its only small up there but he was behind me 4 times!!!
I had no bag with me just a trolley & a small plastic wallet with my coupons& credit card in it so I don't know where he thought I was going to hide anything.
Only saw some sort of Docking station & radio with an OOD SEL but with DTD I still would have had to pay £30 so I thought I'd wait a little longer to find my perfect DTD because I actually do want some cordless phones with answering machine.
Where's all the bargains today ? Don't tell me T's have finally got their act together, missed the choc oranges yesterday had to wait for vet to phone about poorly cat.0 -

Marathon - Number of stores visited during sunday opening hours (can't play in Scotland). Extras score the most, with Metro a few less and express the lowest points.
Triathlon - Visit 3 stores a minimum of 5 miles distance between each with different trials at each. 1st store - Whoopsie challenge find the three items reduced by 90% hidden in the various reduced sections in the store. 2nd store- Price check a full trolley (either at a scanner or a till, your choice) to find the 3 bargains. 3rd store - DTD challenge - find, pay for and receive DTD on 2 items (extra for golden!). Bonus points awarded for extra completed activities - Wombled receipts - Trout Baiting - Glitch purchases. Final result is not decided for a maximum of 36 hours (though may be sooner) when the JTD vouchers come in to see who get more bonus points.0 -
